Professor Najmul Islam , Full Professor(tenured)
Dr. Islam is a Docent (Adjunct Professor) at Tampere University. Islam’s publication has appeared in top Information Systems outlets such as Journal of Strategic Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, and Decision Support Systems. He has published in other highly ranked journals and conferences such as IEEE Intelligent Systems, IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics, Computers & Education, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Information Management, Information Technology & People, Computers in Human Behavior, Computers in Industry, Internet Research, Communications of the AIS, ACM CHI, ACM CSCW, ICIS, ECIS, HICSS, among others. He is currently serving as a Senior Editor for Information Technology & People journal.

Dr Prabhat Kumar , Post-Doc Researcher
Prabhat Kumar: received his Ph.D. degree in Information Technology, National Institute of Technology Raipur, Raipur, India, under the prestigious fellowship of Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) funded by the Government of India in 2022. Thereafter, he worked with Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India, as a Project Officer under project ”Development of Indian Telecommunication Security Assurance Requirements for IoT devices”. He is currently working as Post-doctoral Researcher with the Department of Software Engineering, LUT School of Engineering Science, LUT University, Lappeenranta, Finland. He has many research contributions in the area of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Federated Learning, Big Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Green Internet of Things, Digital Twin, Smart Healthcare System and Software Defined Networking.

Raihan Uddin, Junior Researcher
Md Raihan Uddin has a Master of Science degree from the Software Engineering and Digital Transformation department at LUT University, Finland, with a major in Software Engineering. His academic journey at LUT University has been marked by continuous growth, initially serving as a Junior Research Assistant within the same department, where he has now advanced to Junior Researcher, pursuing his PhD. Specializing in federated learning, blockchain technologies, cybersecurity, and the development of distributed and decentralized smart infrastructures, Md Raihan Uddin’s research endeavours are at the forefront of addressing critical security and privacy challenges. By integrating advanced computational methods and innovative engineering solutions, His dedication to exploring the intersections between federated learning and blockchain technologies within smart infrastructures highlights his commitment to advancing cybersecurity measures and privacy protections for IoT devices in distributed and decentralized smart infrastructure.

Gauri Shankar, Junior Researcher
Gauri Shankar has received his master’s degree in computer science and technology (Cyber Security) from the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the Central University of Punjab, India. He served as assistant professor in department of computer science and engineering, Chandigarh University, Punjab. Thereafter he was JRF in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. At present he is working as a junior researcher at the Software Engineering Department, LUT School of Engineering Sciences, Lappeenranta, Finland. He has His current research is focused on blockchain technology and federated learning in security and privacy enhancement for decentralized and distributed systems, which also include the real-time implementation of IoT.

Neerav Pawar, Junior Research Assistant
Neerav Completed his Bachelors in Technology in Computer science, Currently in the 1st year of his Master degree, pursuing Data-Centric Engineering( Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) at LUT University with commendable academic records. been an active researcher with a passion in academia, also having 2 research papers published. A person known for his presentation and communication skills. Neerav have also demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. Additionally showcasing a firm sense of responsibility and my capacity to work hard under pressure on several opportunities through my projects and course of curriculum.
